The Tsunami Support Network was set up after the Indian Ocean Disaster in December 2004 to provide help and support for anyone affected by the tsunami, whether they are a survivor, bereaved person or family member. It was coordinated by the British Red Cross working closely with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) & the Dept for Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS).
Copies of the Newsletters issued by the Network between March 2005 and February 2006 are available in the news section of this site.
The Tsunami Support Network helped to facilitate the setting up of Tsunami Support (UK) which is run by those directly affected by the tsunami.
